Scotland is now a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is in our summer months from June – August, which usually offers the best weather. These months tend to be when Scotland is at its busiest though, so you may consider visiting slightly earlier or later – spring lasts from March – May and autumn is from September – November. Although winters in Scotland can be very cold, especially in the Highlands, and roads in the north can be tricky, this shouldn’t put off the bold and intrepid explorer. You might just see Scotland at its finest. It is also worth noting that ferry services to the islands can also be disrupted by inclement weather.
At present we use our Honda CR-V SUV which will accommodate 4 clients in comfort.
For larger groups we hire an appropriate-sized mini-bus for the group (usually a Ford Tourneo or similar).
